Beta privacy information

How RouteFit uses data

RouteFit is in beta. It uses limited location, route and product-usage information to generate recommendations, operate the service and improve route quality.

Location and route searches

Your current location is requested only when you choose to use it. You can enter a location instead. Search details and generated route information may be retained for product improvement, issue investigation, service monitoring and API cost control. RouteFit does not retain the location text you type. Search coordinates are reduced to an approximate three-decimal area and search logs are removed after 90 days by default.

Accounts and saved routes

Account information is used for sign-in and private saved-route features. Saved routes are private by default. Exact transfer links are temporary and are not public route listings.

Analytics and feedback

RouteFit records a limited product funnel such as activity mode, searches, result views, route choices, exports and feedback. It does not intentionally place precise coordinates or route geometry in product analytics events.

Photos, selfies and social sharing

When you create a branded post, your selected photo or selfie and the generated image stay in your browser. RouteFit does not upload or retain them. The post hides your exact start and route geometry by default. If you share it, your device and chosen social app control the final post and may apply their own privacy terms.

Control and deletion

You can delete saved routes from your account. During the closed beta, use the contact details in your invitation to ask the project owner about access to or deletion of your beta data.

Route limitations

Recommendations are estimates based on available mapping and environmental data. Conditions and access can change. Check your surroundings, local signage and current conditions before and during an outing.
